Are you always this dmb? There is a thing called "sticky prices" in economics.

That's why sensible government prevent unnecessary volatility in their markets to avoid astronomical price increase because after increase, it might never come down for certain reasons.

Buhari was the only coupist that removed a democratically elected government with help of his Yoruba stalwarts like Tunde Idiagbon and others

every right thinking person knows that Tunde Idiagbon is the main man in removing shagari

same thing in 2015 everyone knows that if not for Tinubu Buhari wouldn't have succeeded Tinubu was the Idiagbon of 2015 political coup

Hmm, GEJ tenure when I bought long note for N100-N150. Now long note is like N800-N900. GEJ's tenure was probably the last time inflation rate was near a single digit. One wonders how GEJ would have handled the drop in oil prices at that time. Olodo Buhari really came at the worst time

Ironically cost of housing in Yakutsk, Russia where I live has only a 3% increase over the last 7 years.

No prices of goods have not been the same. They fell in some Arab countries like Kuwait and in places where they rose, it is not like they went up by 1000% in 8 years.

To put it into perspective for you to understand. Do the maths, at this rate, (over the past two years) rice will be sold for for about half a million naira per bag in four years and petrol will hit 3k per litre. Cement will go to about 50k per bag.

Minimum wage is not d best indicator though minimum wage in 2000 was around N7,500. Today it's X 400%. But d best indicator is average wages. A fresh graduate joining a bank in 2000 as an Executive Trainer used to receive about 340K per annum. Today he receives close to that in a month meaning that wage band has grown over 100%
