Why must they hike the tarrif? Stable electricity already means consumers would pay more, since the token would burn for a much longer time. If you give 2hr electricity, the token would burn for only 2hrs. And if you give 20hr electricity, the token would burn for 20hrs, making more money for the Discos. There's no sense in hiking electricity tarrif just because you want to provide stable electricity. Should the telecoms hike tarrif plans just because some fellows are calling for longer hours? This isn't sensible.

These people will not stop fooling Nigerians with the electricity tariff lies and lies and lies and lies and lies continue we are watching you.

Dey play! They are codedly telling customers in band B and others that very soon their electricity tariffs will be increased soon so don't think you are spared. This govt is evil and wicked. Now the statistics is telling us about the naira gaining strength against the dollars but the effect is not being felt in the prices of food commodities and others. Brood of vipers!

They want everybody to be dependent on their PMS and diesel for power production. We started having gas constraints after they completed their refinery. Since I was born,I have never experienced poor power supply like this.
Most the rich always feast on the poor in Nigeria?

There's nothing like band A, band B, category A, category B. It's a ploy government used in increasing price.

What this means is that band A will now have more power supply, carved out from other bands just to pacify band A and justify the upward review.
In essence, majority of Nigerians that fall under band B and below will now experience poorer supply.

To me I don't see any reason for this 300% increase, Nigerians will pay for electricity, in return they give darkness, when the transformers are bad, Nigerian again will contribute money to buy new transformers still the Disco won't detuct from their bill. People living in location made up of mostly poor people, if they apply for meter, they won't get, even after payment. How will this increase, increase electricity production when the infrastructure is still the same.

Make una try understand. Normally nigerians are not paying the same rate,at my place I pay #49 per kWh while some people are paying lower than that and higher than that. In places like Victoria island,ikoyi and lekki people are paying heavily for power.
How on earth do you expect person like me to be paying 225naira per kWh? That means I will be paying 6k for 26kwh. It cannot happen. I believe Fg is not referring to people like me and you😁

You are the greatest Olodo. What do you understand by Band A customers. These are rich people in specific estates that enjoying minimum of 20 hours electricity supply per day. The increase will not affect public that hardly have 5 hours light in a day.
