Not surprised, used car market is a mess right now, spent 3 months looking until i found mine. Go offline and just drive around, watch out for cars with gallons on the roof for sale. Also consider increasing your search to neighboring states, got my car in abuja from lagos, flew down got a mechanic to inspect and drove back the next day. Kingreign does inspections in abuja, try sending him a PM.

Don't know much about the pilot but i would'nt advise getting an SUV as a first time buyer, try looking for 2002-2006 Crv...solid car that might be in your price range.

Thanks boss, I'll keep looking. I have inspected like 11cars and my female mechanic friend asked me not to buy them. You need to see the rubbish these people want to sell for me.

My honda is 13years in Nigeria, I only change oil, brake pads, the toughest trouble it gave was oil leak from engine seal which was fixed in a day.

Old cars don't mean trouble if they are well maintained and have parts available in the market.

If na Honda you Dey find, I’ll advise you go to Oyingbo. That place is Honda hq in Lagos. Be sure to go with a very good mechanic that has a car scanner. Get the codes displayed and run a google search yourself as well. A good scanner should scan the engine, gear, and sensors. Do not be in a haste to close any deal.

If you’re skeptical, sleep over the decision. No go rush buy any car.
