Nigerian music producer, Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as Samklef, has taken the internet by storm as he revealed that Afrobeat singer, Davido is not the real owner of his brand new private jet worth $80 million.

On Thursday, April 4, Davido took to his microblogging platform, X as he hinted on acquisition of his new private jet, Bombardier’s Global 7500.

This sparked discussions on social media as fans and followers tagged the ‘Unavailable’ hit maker as the richest Nigerian singer.

Amidst several jubilations, Samklef stated that Davido did not buy the airplane, revealing that the private jet belonged to his billionaire father, Mr Adeleke.

Via his Instagram page, he wrote, “Congratulations to davido as his dad don buy another private jet! Where una papa Dey when davido papa Dey make money ?
💰 My own papa don die since 1996 I was 11 just incase una wan ask me back the question. 😂”.

So if someone invest $800million in a business, it automatically means they have $800 million personal money?

When the GENCO becomes operational and start making revenues, then Forbes will start to include such as parts of his assets.

With the completion of the Project, the networth of Sepco-Pacific Energy Ltd (owner of Omotosho and Olorunshogo GENCOs) will sky rocket.

It is just like someone spending millions on an uncompleted building. It won't be counted as his worth but if the building is finished and rented out to banks, corporate organizations or even as residential apartments, then it will be counted as part of the owner's assets.
