Religious people fervently engage in their various religious activities. Christians go to church every sunday, they sing, they dance they pray. During Christmas period, they celebrate Christmas passionately, carry out various activities during lent, celebrate easter plus a host of other religious activities they engage in throughout the year. Muslims on the other hand also engage in their various religious activities like going to Mosque every Friday, fasting during Ramadan period, praying at various times of the week and so on.

Though there is nothing wrong with the above activities, what baffles me is that while they fervently and eagerly engage in these activities throughout their lives, they find it difficult to do the main thing that religion is supposed to be about which according to Jesus is to love one another, live a moral life and do good to others.

Take Nigeria which happens to be one of the most religious countries in the world for example. In Nigeria, all kinds of crime is the order of the day such as armed robbery, kidnapping, ritualism, corruption, fraud, extortion, stealing and so on plus moral decadence including prostitution, adultery, gossip, dishonesty, substance abuse and others which are perpetrated by the so called religious people. This makes me wonder- are they trying to deceive God?

In a place where there's only one legal tender but lots of counterfeits do you think the real money can make much impact in the midst of thousands of sources producing fake money?

Of course only one religion comes from the true God while the rest are false so try to see Nigeria as that place where the counterfeits are many in number you should know that the rate of crime in other places where there are few counterfeits will be much lesser compared to the place where counterfeit money thrives!

You didn't even mention the main ones killing this country, bribery and corruption. The same politicians who loudly praise their god are the same ones keeping our commonwealth for themselves greedily.

1. Additionally, it is hard to do that which one has little to no real understanding of. Jesus Christ defined His Kind of love as a set of rules. The vast majority of Nigerian Christianity are not informed on the details of these laws and are hence unable to show the Jesus Christ kind of love even if in the way some out in western nations attempt .
