In both games City played vs Sheffield, they Scored 2 like your team but they didnt concede 2 goals like your useless team

Nicolas Jackson attempted 29 passes with a 55% pass completion rate. So he completed 15 passes all game.

He had 6 bad controls. The highest in the match...on BOTH sides.

Our striker didn't just have 0 shots on target, he did not shoot at all in this match. 0 shots on or off target.

Imagine, first team not to have up to 10 attempts.

There was a through ball they gave Jackson in the box, just for him to surge forward and outwit the last man and pull the trigger, the dindinrin cut the ball back, waiting for other attackers to join up. The big chance evaporated in seconds.

This is why I agreed with Trevor012 when he says penalties are masking Palmer's true attacking output. City dominated the match from start to finish, completing over 900(!) Passes, finishing the game with 81% possession, and firing almost 20 shots at the keeper.

They did not win because the kept cleansheet after scoring from a corner and a fortunate punt at a shït keeper.

They created chances and dominated the game.

I attend all the home matches at Sheffield United. My kids are in their academy and even walked out with the players as Mascots in the game against Fulham last week.

Even with how poor Chelsea was today we produced two goals which should be enough to see out Sheffield like City did but as usual our defense and defensive structure that has leaked in 52goals let us down again. We are basically starting matches 2 goals down before a ball is even kicked.

At least we can say injuries to better defenders forced us to be using them Disasi and Broda Shile. Who is Jackson's competition as top 9 in the team?
