A former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor Godwin Emefiele has arrived in court for his arraignment.

He was arraigned at the Ikeja High Court over alleged abuse of office and allocation of billions of dollars.

The trial judge, Justice Rahman Oshodi entered the courtroom at 9 am to begin proceedings. The 26-count charge was read to Emefiele and his co-defendant, Henry Omoile.

But both defendants pleaded not guilty to all counts.

This man should just rot in jail. Brazingly contesting for presidency while holding public office was one of his many sins. Allocating millions, if not billions of dollars to his girlfriend and cronies was another height of his insensitivity to the position he was given. Many people do not always remember that a day of reckoning will always come. I spit on his bald head tueh

He's not guilty until proven guilty by a competent court of law.

Bulaba is just punishing him for trying to frustrate his vote buying. If bulaba is pissed, he should go after Buhari, Emewefele can't do nothing without his oga authorization.
