The Islamic state of iran, with his military capabilities, especially it's ICBM capabilities pose the greatest threat to the state of Israel,
In the middle East. In fact the IDF is structured in a way to withstand a large scale attack from Iran and also attack Iran

When it comes to attacks by proxy, no country dose it better than Iran, the Israeli intelligence agency mossad has countless times conducted operations deep inside Iranian territory, killed scientist and Iran military officers,
Yet Iran hasn't responded directly but will always used proxies,
Hamas, Hezbollah, the houtis etc, all these are Iranian proxies, which advance it's interest in the region
And the good thing about using proxies is that it makes you immune to criticisms and the fallout of action
Israel dose not use proxies or 3rd party countries
Iran could easily use its proxies to attack let say a USA base without it taking blame for it.

Iran can't attack Israel.

Do your research, Israel has hundreds of MOSSAD agents embedded within Iranian government.

Attacking Israel will be dangerous.

Again, Israel is nuclear armed and won't hesitate to nuke Iran if they face existential threat.

If A strikes proxies let B also strike proxies so that the equation can balance. Enough is enough for wailing that holds no water. But I don't want to hear "free Iran" later. When they start, there must be no cry for ceasefire until the end. Because I want to check something
