South Africa are desperate for a win on Friday when they play Nigeria in the second leg of the final round of the Olympic Games qualifier.

The Super Falcons claimed a 1-0 win in the first leg played at MKO Abiola Stadium on Friday, April 5 courtesy of Rasheedat Ajobade's strike.

But if they beat us 1-0, it would be a tie. The aggregate score would be 1-1.

We would go into extra time.

If they beat us 2-1 today, aggregate score would be 2-2. No away goals rule, so we go into extra time. With away goals rule, we can win even if they beat us 2-1 today. But there is no away goals rule.

So, a draw today is good for us. We must try not to lose.

Still don't understand why mumu CAF did not seed the 2teams in the Draws.

Now, one of them will unfortunately not qualify to represent Africa in Olympics.

What he meant is that of we play 2:1 today in their favour, and aggregate 2:2 the former rule would have made us qualify but no more away goal.

Both teams have played several times since their 7-1 win against South Africa in a 1995 World Cup qualifier in Johannesburg. They have met 24 times with Nigeria winning 15, five ended in draws and South Africa claimed victory four times.
