It's not news that "moon" must be sighted before the celebration can hold.
FG would declare a day as the celebration day then BOOM! shift the day simply because the was not sighted.

Why not just fix a day for sallah celebration like other religions do?

You can't claim the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob sent you and your believe is different from the foundation that has been laid by the same prophets and the prophesies that has been foretold by same prophets.
