As I have written before, it's not until Tinubu's time that pure water became a thing in Lagos. That was one of Jakande's lasting legacies. The wasted opportunity to make Lagos Water Supply to all residents in Lagos beats me when people call him visionary. Potable water supply is a given in any so-called mega city. Lagos should be ashamed that boreholes have taken over instead of government supplying water to all.

Jakande had put in place structures to supply water to Lagosians. When Tinubu came in as governor, it started changing and pure water companies started coming in different places.
