Thank you for even making me research on this Onikan water works 😂.

A project that was started by Tinubu and was never Commissioned even after gulping over N200m.

It was left as an abandoned project for more than 12 years until Ambode came and rehabilitated it with other mini water works across Lagos😂.

So rehabilitation means the project has never been completed before to your small mind? Every projects will continue to undergo rehabilitation.

It was commissioned as third in series according to what you posted by yourself. Rehabilitation if third mile bridge was just concluded.

Bringing up the issue of borehole constructed when Obi was governor is inconsequential to the recent debate, because at that time he was governor and he is expected to provide infrastructure and development in his state.

To the issue of recent constructed bore hole in zaria and sokoto, a lot has commented, but lets look at the issue.
Had it been Obi is a known philanthropist or Obi has been known to engaging in such activities in the past then gesture is a welcome development. But No!
We all know that Obi has been the most frugal politican in the land until recently when he has started donating money and coming up with bore hole gestures.
What changed?
It is simple! Obi has his eyes on the 2027 presidency that's why he is doing all this. Call it pouring water ahead, call is "Greek gift" ( according to Gani Fawhenmi) or stomach infrastructure. It is not that Obi is so a generous man or he loves the people so much, it is simply to endear him to the localities so that when he comes in 2027 they open their doors to him. He has started his 2027 campaign in earnest.

Since this is the case, then I join others that condemn NOT the initiative but the Quality of work. He could do a better quality bore. I don't think what I saw could last up to a year!

Point of correction, Obi has been this way all his life; the difference now is that it's being done before cameras.

As an Anambran, I think Peter Obi did not impress as governor, if the man was building real infrastructure he wouldn't have time to be turning up to commission boreholes.

Willie Obiano performed very poorly on infrastructure but he at least had the sense to build some legacy projects such as the Anambra Airport, so for that reason I would have to rank Peter Obi below Obiano as governor.

Before the Obidents start accusing me of being Tinubu agent, let me just be clear that Tinubu has proven to not only be an unmitigated and ever unfolding disaster but the biggest criminal since Obasanjo to occupy the office of Nigerian president and I cannot imagine how Peter Obi , could be a worse president than Tinubu.

We the real people of Anambra voted for Peter Obi 99.8% in every election. We trust and believe in him, not crooks.
