The problem with this three is that, our defensive capacity is drastically reduced. Our defenders are easily exposed to threat from attack without problem distortion from midfield

That or you have Romeu as the DM. Inigo won't feature as a DM sadly!

I don finally agree

Maybe only the second one I should have a point with

Joan cancelo and tersteghen were our worst players

I'm not Xavi but be rest assured that baring injuries, both Dejong and Gundo will be on the pitch against PSG. May be Pedri will drop to the bench for Fermin.

So more like Dejong_Gundo_Pedri or Dejong_ Gundo_Fermin.

Dejong and Gundo are too crucial for control, experience and creativity!
Frenkie isn't creative... Pedri is far more creative and productive than FDJ.

cancelo likes to show off and over do things in big games. He was defensively solid last night though.

I do think it looks poor on Xavi that only after he announced he was leaving, the players are playing for him again. Shows he had trouble keeping the players motivated, and long term that is a recipe for disaster if he chooses to stay.

Do you ever imagine we'll go through a whole season in bad form?

It's obvious that most players have picked up form at the right time. Even Araujo lost form in the first half of the season. Also Lewandowski and Kounde but they're all playing much better now.

As well, injuries to key players and finding a good defensive stability contributed to the first half season slump/patchy form.

Don't forget the 2nd season syndrome, where most teams lose form after a good first season.

I'm very happy Xavi was able to turn everything around and rescue a season that was quickly spiralling out of control.

Henry really holds Xavi in high esteem. He told Xavi that he has the best footballing brain he's ever seen alongside Pep.

Is he saying some of our fans here cannot see well?

I don't think xavi is the best coach in the world, but I honestly hope he reconsiders and extends for atleast one more season given our financial situation owing to our ongoing projects.

Remember a new coach comes with fresh financial demands

But most importantly I want xavi to renew due to our developing youngsters

Cubarsi
Lamine Yamal
Pedri
Gavi
Blade
fermin Lopez etc

I rather we let these guys grow into world-beaters than pursue instant gratification (which isn't even guaranteed)

Make nobody joke with my boys oh..that nonsense that dembele do us yesterday, one of ours can never do such.

Make them beg xavi to reconsider and stay for one more season oh

We no get money for new coach for now.

Spot on. The team is gradually morphing into a formidable, exciting unit and Xavi is key. Wouldn't want another coach to come and disrupt the dynamics.

But from his statements to Henry and the Skysports team yesterday, it appears he's made up his mind to leave.

A definite yes.. Except we are bringing in Pep, Flick, Klopp, or Enrique, I don't see who could have done any better with this Barcelona.

Even Klopp didn't win immediately he arrived at Liverpool in 2015. It took a bit of time before they became a force. And some season, they still experience slump in form, just like every club and they overcome it together.

But in Barcelona, we're broke and entitled. The unreasonable media and insatiable fans, wanted Xavi gone in January knowing full well that the team lacked key personnel after being hampered in the transfer market and injuries also dealt a huge blow, just because the team experienced a slump in form but now everyone wants him to stay.

Xavi is no fool. He knows he was treated awfully by the fans and media of the club he loves so much. He is not going to change his mind (I hope he does). Because he knows where he is. He knows it takes another slump in form for everyone to start calling for his head again. He knows the fans and media are never going to stand by him when things go bad.

I hope he considers the young players he has been bringing up to the first team and the impact he could have in their careers and he can choose to stay with the team because of them. Not because of the fans or the media.

It's difficult to know how heavy we should rotate for tomorrow's game at Cadiz. On the one hand, we have Girona hot on our heels, we can't afford to drop points and on the other hand, we have a UCL tie we need to close out on Tuesday. Definitely no slacks there either.

I'll go with

Ter Stegen
Fort, Christensen, Inigo Martinez, Alonso
Sergi Roberto, Oriol Romeu, Fermin Lopez
Ferran Torres, Vitor Roque, Joao Felix

Liverpool are patient

Klopp won’t last at Barca after spending 9 seasons and only 1 league title

I know my club and the toxic fans

God forbid bad thing, I'll rather play with a less intensive midfield of Pedri, Gundo and FDJ than have romeo dashes the ball back when pI$$g press, it looks like we'll have to outscore them again cause I believe mbappe and pembele would bring all the smoke, muani or Ramos would also likely start ahead of asensio

Inigo, Lewy and Cancelo are all out due to suspension. #fifth straight yellow.

That said, I see both Araujo and Kunde or one of them starting vs Cadiz!

You know the chief I replied to talked about playing Inigo as a DM against PSG and I told him I don't see that happening. It's either that or Romeo replacing one of Dejon or Pedri because Gundo is nailed on.

Gundo, Pedri, Dejong....Most Likely
Dejong Gudo Fermin
Pedri Gundo Fermin

Or
Pedri Romeo Gundo
Dejong Romeo Gundo....this is very unlikely but Inigo DM isn't just happening!

Inaki Pena has misused the opportunity he had. He should be sold at the end of the season. He has shown that Barca needs a backup keeper ASAP.

Xavi: "Mika Faye is ready, tomorrow could be his big day to debut".

"I see him ready to be part of our first squad, he's an interesting talent and it could be his moment, yes".

Very happy to see if he makes the debut. If Xavi can get this one right too, then we'd set for a long time in the defensive position.

True I've noticed dough people might say Xavi favours Spanish player but whether you Spanish or not once you don't perform he sends you out

If Eric Gracia had stayed at Barcelona cubarsi won't have seen this opportunity and our defence would have been leaking

Eric Garcia actually improved and is a mainstay in Girona's defense today. Maybe that is the level of club that fits his talent. It is not everyone who can handle the pressure of playing at the biggest clubs. It doesn't mean he is catastrophe.

Sorry I called him catastrophe but Let's see what Faye can do first. I will be happy if he comes good like Cubarsi.

Fully aligned. For me, criticism of Xavi has been unduly excessive. Won La liga in his first full season. Even Pep didnt win with City in his first stint.

Barca and Madrid fans are the most impatient in all of Europe even when the teams are doing well.

I hope Xavi changes his mind.
