I think the project done Mr Obi is serving it's purpose. The water is flowing and the base is solid. Can last many years. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not being sincere. It's even his personal money.

I did praise Desmond Elliot because he actually fixed one of the problems his consistuency had albeit small.

State senators don't get much in terms of allocation. In fact, they barely get their salaries. That's why you hardly see state senators commission anything unlike federal.

I'm sure you don't even know the state senator representing your local government because he has zero impact on your life like the local government chairman. And those ones have been rendered useless too by state governors.

But anyone who thinks that spending over 5-20 million on logistics to fly all the way to the North and packing entourage and cameras just to commission a public toilet looking borehole that an ordinary corps member earning 30k or less as salary can build is a prudent way of spending money or doing charity work, then that person needs his brain to be checked at Yaba Left.

That's absolutely insane stuff.

the problem is, most times, big men in that community may have done stuff lkke this without packing cameras and entourage to commission such horrible project. You don't know how big the community is.

They may not even have big men that can afford such project in their community, but that doesn't mean someone should come and insult their sensibility.


Somto didn't spend more than 20million on media and paparazzi just to commission this, a 2 time governor and a fucking presidential candidate with history of substandard products did.
