The Obidient Movement under the aegies of the Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO) - umbrella body for all support groups has declared "Operation One Borehole Project per Community" challenge in support of their Principal His Excellency Peter Obi

Arising from an online meeting yesterday, the umbrella body took the decision to encourage all Obidients to key into this challenge as a follow-up to PO's laudable humanitarian outreach in the north during the just concluded month of Ramadan.

The former National Coordinator of CPO, Hon Pamson Dagyat was first to set the ball rolling by donating a borehole to his community wherein he called on other well-meaning Obidients and support groups to also take up the challenge

I thought I was the only one who realised the duplicitous nature of these Obedients when the news broke on the front page.

It was not even a news report but someone posting details of their whatsapp group discussion.

Unlike this already existing borehole water supply being passed off as a response to mockery of Obi's poor standard of infrastructure, let them show us the result of their commitment around the country 2weeks from now.

Obidients are exceptional. They believe in more of action and making positive strides towards the betterment of their society than lamenting woes

I'm not a fan of waste. All of these could fit into one post instead of three posts saying the same thing on a single thread. Aren't the thoughts of one and the same person? I understand some high ranking Legislators are not happy the boreholes were built in their own communities, and for peanuts too, compared to the billions they budgeted for it. However, I fail to see how this space booking on Nairaland helps their cause 🤔

Simple. This is a challenge worth taking up and I look forward to seeing how the quality of life will be systematically lifted in the next one year as more and more people take on the great course.
