Nigerians who wish things to escalate between Israel and Iran do not wish well for this country.

Nigeria is currently in dire straight, like we are in difficult times , any crisis in the Middle East will affect us directly and indirectly.

Nigerians will not benefit much from increased oil prices, perish that line of thought.

The Security implications of an Israel Vs Iran war are huge upon Nigeria.

Iran has terrorist affiliated groups in Nigeria. Most of the known violence loving groups are directly sponsored by Iran.

Shia Islamic Movement of Nigeria is an Iran backed group and has loyalists in virtually all Northern states.

Think of how things can quickly escalate in Nigeria where people are more loyal to their religion than their Country.

If war breaks out, your honorable legislators will be abroad in their favorite countries overseeing the affairs of your country through zoom.

Warring countries will come to Nigeria for talks about Nigeria’s teeming youth population joining them, and this will put Nigeria in a precarious situation because you can’t just sit and enjoy the spectacle, you have to pick a side.

Simply explained:

Country A wants Nigeria to join them and fight country B

If Nigeria doesn’t join, country A could attack as a bullying tactic

If Nigeria joins, country B could attack to stop them

Nigeria stands to gain nothing from a WW because it'll be a case of grass suffering where elephants fight. Neither Biafra, Muslim Arrewa nor Oduduwa republic stand to gain anything. FG will try sitting on the fence as usual but will be trampled by the warring states eventually. We have no funds, equipment, know-how or personnel to make any reasonable contribution as the war will not be fought with AK 47 and hand grenades but end time weapons of mass destruction undecided

With close to 80 million lives lost in the last World War, one has to be bone-headed and immutable to reason to embrace the idea of a re-run.
You welcome the prospect of war? Well, maybe it time that you left your comfortable abode and spent time in a refugee/IDP camp.

If another world war breaks out, many Nigerians living abroad will be conscripted. For those at home, who think they are somehow immune - an idea not grounded in reality, since more than a million Africans fought in WW2 - this will be your kith and kin.

Slice and dice it however you want but we will all be affected in ways that are currently unimaginable, despite your farcical and reductive projections.

Nigeria has no role to play.

Religious bigots and those with whatever sentiments regarding this conflict and are occupying positions in the Nigerian government, should just focus on giving Nigeria 24 hours power supply and solving the numerous economic and security problems. Shameless people who have not tackled 1% of our myriad of problems. This conflict does not concern us.

Israel was providing aids, read history you bloody illiterates, they were not deeply involved in the war, same with France,Gabon and the rest, unlike britain who was fighting for his interest in the oil in the eastern region.

Did you hear that any country bombed the northern part of nigeria, but series of uncountable jets were bombing homes and locations in Biafra territories.
