Even with US, France, UK and Jordan coming to its defense, Iran old ballistic missiles struck their intended targets inside Israel. Now imagine, if Iran had strike with its more advanced missile and without any warning? These countries spent $1.2B to shoot down $68M worth of Iranian old missiles, their is a limit to how far they can go on defending Israel, and they know that without their help, Israel is no match for Iran missile capability. The message from Iran is loud and clear, hence the reason why Biden told Netanyahu to stand down.
