...Reason for the arrest undisclosed

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested a Kaduna politician, Aisha Galadima on Sunday.

The DSS is, however, yet to announce the reason for her arrest or what they were investigating, but a source said the action of the service might not be unconnected with security breach.

The source explained that the DSS, "upon obtaining credible intelligence on any Nigerian connected to a national or State security issue could launch a pre-emptive strike to forestall a breach.

Sources familiar with the DSS pre-emptive action on security threats, said the arrest of Aisha Galadima was therefore nothing new.
