Peppermaster:I like how the names of the age grades record time of important events in history. Aho Mmili Li Umuaka Ibusa - the year Ibusa children drowned in a river. Aya Jamani - German War, i.e., Second World War Aho Chi Ji Eshishe Ji - The Year Night Fell During the Day (i.e., The Solar Eclipse of 1947). Etc etc. I wonder if this can be extended beyond the 20th century, to the 19th or even the 18th century, and be used to build a chronology for Ibusa history. 1 Like |
