THE FUNNY THING IS THAT BY THE TIME HE GOES ON TRIAL AND CONVICTED HE WILL BE SENTENCED TO A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS TO 25 YEARS

HE SHOULD HAVE PLEADED GUILTY...THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO PUT HIM AWAY FOR A VERY LONG TIME

The bobrisky saga is a case study to this, while bobrisky is in jail now, this other one is celebrating bail as if he is acquitted

He didn't pay 10m! It's embarrassing to realise that at this day and age many adults still don't understand how the judicial process works.
1. Bail requires your surety to sign a bail bond. A bail bond comes with terms and conditions. Like landed property, and or a civil servant of a particular salary Cadre or Level.
2. Depending on the gravity of the alleged offence a traditional ruler or a senator may be required to sign the bail bond. (Terrorism charges)
3. Actual money is not paid. It's when the defendant jumps bail that the surety will show cause why he shouldn't be jailed, at this stage the bail bond he signed is activated, where he can pay the cash and be free of the suretyship. Then the state will declare the defendant wanted. So whenever you hear bail of 300m in like sum, like in CBN Emefiele's case, before it was varied to 50m, no cash was paid!

Selective Justice is Injustice. The person that pleaded guilty and leniency was jailed for 6 months. Meanwhile the person that arrogantly pleaded not guilty with evidences of him being guilty all over the internet was granted bail.

Nigeria my Country.

My brother, the law is clear. The charges against them are bailable offences. Bobrisky shouldn't have pleaded guilty thats 1. Secondly, pleading guilty also has advantages. Normally, the judge was supposed to take into consideration the fact that he didn't waste the time of the court. I expected the court to have given him community service or option of fine.
However, Cuban a chief priest is on bail the case is still alive. So it's a temporary relief.

The lawyer advised him to say that so that he can pay fine of 50k as first offender unlike chief priest who pleaded not guilty and his case continues though he was released on bail

How do you know it looks like real money, do you have it in your possession the money he was spraying that day, prop monies don’t have serial numbers and they are used in films when you have a scene that involves large amount of money. When, I read comments like yours, I'm tempted to say there is no future for Nigeria. That he's been granted bail and pleads not guilty does not mean he cannot be found guilty and jailed like the other who pleads guilty.

The offence is a bailable offence and in the eye of the law, he's been given no preferential treatment.
