1. North Central: Niger State - 76,363 km²
2. North East: Borno State - 70,898 km²
3. North West - Kaduna State 46,053 km²
4. South West: Oyo State - 28,454 km²
5. South South: Cross River - 20,156 km²
6. South East: Enugu State 7,161 km²

The Pacific Ocean = 165 Million km²

Kano is the smallest state by size in the north west

Akwa ibom is the smallest state by size in the south south,

Imo state is the second to the smallest in the south east

in Northwest?

Is Imo bigger than Enugu state?

In Northwest kano is the smallest in terms of land mass but with the highest population.

Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto, kebbi, Katsina, Jigawa are among the 7 states of North West and they are all larger than Kano in land mass.

As for South South.
Cross River, Edo , Delta and Rivers State are all larger than Akwa Ibom

You can't open a thread as this without being properly informed on the subject matter. Who tells you Imo state with 5,530 km2 is the largest in the South East? It doesn't even come second. Go do your research, please.

The current governor of Niger state is by far one of the best governors in Nigeria. Dude is doing a marvelous job.

Although, the state have been cursed with bad ass corrupt leaders in the past.

Basically, the South East is supposed to be at other regions in terms of infrastructures and social amenities based on the small size.

But corrupt leaders have turned the resources of the region to their personal money.

You can't be serious. You said Akwa Ibom is the largest in this South -South. For your information, Cross River State is 20,156km2. About 3 times the size of Akwa Ibom State.
