This meeting precedes the party’s National Executive Committee meeting set for April 18. It marks Wike's first attendance at a PDP meeting since the presidential election last year, during which he didn't support Atiku, causing friction with the party leadership. Wike's decision to join President Bola Tinubu's cabinet further strained his relationship with PDP stakeholders.
