Infact if you know Yoruba well , you will know how they have mingled religiously that you can't even separate them any more on religion basis , Muslims come to church , Christians marrying Muslims, good bonding and chemistry in the grassroots and in the family level ,so don't say what is not , muric is just one man on his own , an abberant who doesn't reflect the majority.

Tinubu case you mentioned is not an issue of religion but politics , go and check many Christians Tinubu has uplifted or helped, his children go to church ,......

You are so ignorant of the issue on ground and so ignorant generally.

There are six(6) states in the southwest all of their leaders/governors are Christians.

In addition, Ondo, Ekiti and Osun both the governors and their deputies are Christians.


If you are politically informed Lagos Christians ensured Christian governor succeeds fashola..so no domination rather mutual understanding.

So which stupid domination of Christians in southwest regional politics are you talking about?

In the nucleus of the ministries where government work is done, Christian experts are in abundant there.

Nigeria has produced national leaders from Southwest and they are majorly Christians.

Obasanjo, Sonekan, Dipo Diya, Osinbanjo .....but BAT is a muslim but not a religious fanatic/extremist.

The premier of the old western region was a Christian
Obafemi Jeremiah Oyeniyi Awolowo, his successor Ladoke Samuel Akintola was also a Christian.

Since the return of democracy in 1999, christians dominate the ministers from the southwest.

In schools in the southwest our lord's prayer , Christians songs and worship Monday till Thursday, only Friday for Islamic prayer.

This is the reason MURIC (Muslim right concerns) is shouting marginalization and begin to voice out lately,
While MURIC admitted a lot of Christians are highly educated in the southwest but marginalization of muslims is what they won't support.

They complain about Osinbajo succeeding Buhari that they rather support Igbo (because Yoruba Christian have dominated a lot politically) or BAT ( a Muslim) , they complained about ministers from the southwest are virtually all christians and want their kids who are muslims in public schools use hijab....e.t.c all these were not there before now but it's obvious is a form of protest against political domination, so don't say Christians or Christian ideology are relegated to the background in the southwest, if they are, then there won't be a reason for a Muslim group like MURIC (although does not represent all Muslims) to grumble.

With their grumbling, all southwest governors are still Christians, just to tell you their position is not the position of all the people from the southwest, unnecessary distraction.
Or are you telling me muslims didn't vote for Christians in Osun, Oyo for example.

If Oduduwa republic exist without Nigeria, religion will never be an issue, because we are calm and wise....
Some of these unwise, intolerant and touchy tribes are the ones causing religion problems in Nigeria.
