Imagine if Nigeria get a leader today that is both brilliant and incorruptible.

Enforce compliance with anti corruption laws and rule of law regardless of status in society.

Reduce bribery and corruption in public contracts which would ensure that US and western companies have equal shot at contracts along with their Chinese rivals in Nigeria.

Use Nigerian wealth for the good of the people and stop looting them.

Imagine the scale of investments that would flow in from America and Europe without even doing much.

That's what African countries should be doing, not pandering to Russia to cover their own corruption.
