I want to find sources that tell me about the relations and history between those two ethnic groups. I need reputable sources because I am doing it for a project so the more reputable source the better. Thank you for reading this post.

Go and search for historical books on Yoruba and Hausa relationships. These two groups have traded together for centuries. Oyo for example used a lot of Hausa mercenaries for it's expansion wars. The relationship also brought in Islam to the Yoruba towns.

Travel to Ilorin, it's not far.

You'll find on-ground and physical evidence of whatsoever that you need.

Ilorin is ruled by an emir whose great great great great grand father was Fulani (NOT Hausa). He has been yorubanized anyway. His native dialect and mother tongue is Yoruba and his favourite food is Amala.

In addition, you also have Igala kings ruling over several towns in Enugu and Ebonyi. You know, the people you call wawa.

Ndi Wawa are proud of themselves(especially those from Enugu metropolis and environs), we identify others by their autonomous names like ndi nsukka, ndi nkanu etc

Ebonyi state dey complex, Izzie, izaa, ikwo, Aba, etc they're very industrious and hardworking...we generally identify them by their state capital name "Abakiliki".

They too, they call us ndi agba enu etc and we're happy with that.

There's no where OP mentioned ebonyi or Enugu here but your bigotry deemed it fit to chip in your ill conceived misconception about us.

I hope I've cleared you that Wawa is not a derogatory word?? It's actually people's identity

You have to find out about the pre Usman Dan Fodio history of Gobir

It was the Kingdom of Gobir whose Ancestors were intertwined with the Yorubas

The Gobir Hausas and the Yorubas especially the Oyo are relatives

Around the 16th century the gobir hausa were Nomadic Warriors who were military allies of oyo after they had lived in oyo for 10 years Alaafin advised them to establish their own kingdom instead of moving from place to place as Nomadic Warriors.
The gobir hausa accepted Alaafin's advice and with an Army the Alaafin gave them to help them they established the gobir Kingdom.
That is why gobir hausa often have Yoruba Ancestors in addition to their hausa Ancestors

The name of their King was Bawa
The gobir hausa were the ones who called oyo people who they had lived and intermarried with Yorubas

The other hausa later started calling all the Ife Groups Yorubas since they didn't know the difference or who was Ijesha oyo Ondo Awori Igbomina Ekiti and so on, it was only the gobir hausa who had lived and intermarried with the Oyos that knew the difference

The other hausa just knew they all migrated from Ile Ife and spoke the same Language so they used Yoruba as a blanket term for all of them

But you people are not proud of abakeleke people. You shit on them at every opportunity.

In addition, you brought up tribal banters first but upset when the favour is returned. You think you are wise...Wetin concern emir of Ilorin with a topic that specifically talks about Hausa? Since when did Hausas start using emir title over sarkin?

Their relationship at best can be described as a type of consensual relationship of dominance and submission.

Like the way the Fulani are domineering over the ibos, and Ibos always being second fiddle.

1960 Azikiwe Saurdana (they outsmarted Zik and gave him a ceremonial president position) - Fulani/ibo

1979: Shagari/Ekwueme - Fulani/Ibo

1993: Tofa/Ugo - Fulani/Ibo

2003: Buhari/Okadigbo - Fulani/Ibo

2007: Buhari/ Ezeoke - Fulani/Ibo

2019: Atiku/ Peter Obi - Fulani/Ibo

You have him an uppercut. It's the Obi of Onitsha kneeling for the emir for me or the red cap chief sitting on the floor. A true slave and master relationship grin
