I noticed that most of the beggars ,deformed and crippled people on the streets of Lagos are northerners,why is that?

It's actually the effects of sharia law , in sharia law some offenses leads to amputation of the hands or legs as punishment , this has made some of them crippled or handicapped.

Majority of them are victims of Polio, whose parents denied them of vaccinations out of ignorance and religious indoctrination

Some even make babies and ignores all form of vaccinations just for the sole purpose of begging.

Poor pre natal and post natal care, resistance to vaccination of babies and toddlers based on religious beliefs. higher childhood poverty etc.
