Toh Development must go on. Those who have the right documents should get compensation from the government, others who don't have should be considered at least with something 39 Likes 2 Shares |

Urheadmaster:That airport is useless. The money used in building the airport could have been used in other developments in Ebonyi state. And these demolitions, why can't the government stop the building of this houses at the earliest stage knowing it is against the plans of future development. It's very bad. 2 Likes |

When demolitions are carried out in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi and likes, you won't see any Igbo make noise.. but when LASG decide to carry out demolitions in Lagos, the whole internet will be turned upside down from wailing of Igbo people. Iran Yoruba, for how long are we going to continue this way?.. allowing outsiders debar the progress of our people and region. We can't continue making the same mistakes Yorubas of old made in their time. 20 Likes 3 Shares |

This shows that Lagos state is being held hostage and blackmailed by people of certain origin. Every other state in Nigeria is free to demolish infractions in order to build but once it comes to Lagos state government, you'll see some people shouting that the government is heartless for destroying people's investment. If it was in Anambra or Imo etc, that Landmark beach would have gone by now if there was an important major road to be built. But because it's in Lagos, you'll see Peter Obi and their group shouting. Obi that cannot comment on anything in the SE now sees Lagos as his home that must work according to his feelings. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

Anambra on Monday and now Ebonyi and nobody is saying anything. No viral videos of how the government is targeting a particular set of people. But if this is been done in another region, they will be everywhere claiming victims. 6 Likes 1 Share |

The demolition is monumental and senseless. Ebonyi State has no serious investments, has no serious industry, the rice mills are collapsing, the commercial poultry farm built by Dr Sam Egwu has since gone comatose. The state is about the poorest in Nigeria, yet this government embarked on a senseless destruction of the little livelihood of the people without recourse to its consequences. The increase allocation the state is getting is causing madness and aggravated planlessness. Meanwhile, Abakaliki is so small and development is moving towards Ochudo area, so no need for another flyover and this heartless destruction which has affected the livelihood of many poor people, including at least three banks and one of the biggest pharmacies in the state. Again, even if this must be, government should have carried the affected people along and know how to assuage the situation rather than overnight destruction of their wellbeing. Incidentally, a government that promotes people's charter of needs policy. This is so sad and worrisome and a doubt how the governor is being advised. 3 Likes |
