While hosting the Group CEO of Swiss-based Glencore, one of the world’s largest natural resource companies, I affirmed Nigeria's readiness to welcome international big players into the mining sector, citing reforms and ongoing efforts to sanitize the sector.

Nigeria has critical minerals that are commercially viable globally. It is important to provide an efficient governance structure and sanitize the operating environment of the mining sector.

This objective remains a priority of President Bola Tinubu's administration.
