the problem with market and traders associations is not the registration fees they collect from members but the fact that they control the prices of goods they sell. they tell their members not to sell goods below a certain price. they regulate price at which goods are sold

I understand that the government does not want to fix prices because of electoral ambitions, but they can actually do it through the monarchs who are not elected. There's no fear of any monarch being voted out by the people. No! Replace the local government chairmen with these monarchs. It'll save cost and it's more beneficial.
