I'm from Anambra and mine is Peter Obi followed by Chris Ngige. It's really sad that Obi successors have greatly stalled the developmental strides started by Ngige, sustained and taken to unimaginable level by the Obi's administration. It's terribly sad Anambra after Obiano's carefree administration ended up in the hands of a very deluded personality like Soludo who believes he knows more than knowledge itself. It's very sickening and ridiculous at the same time Soludo promising to make Anambra Dubai/Taiwan of Africa. Even if he hadn't been to any of those countries, atleast he can watch videos available everywhere of Dubai and Taiwan because the substandard roads he has been constructing on snail's pace don't come anywhere close to the ones constructed in neighboring states not to talk of Dubai or Taiwan. 1 Like |

In Edo State since 1999 Adams Oshiomole is hands down the best. But overall I think the best has been Ambrose Alli (Back when the state was still joined to Delta as Bendel State. 1 Like 1 Share |

Amaechi remains a sui generis. The world class primary schools he built in virtually all the communities in the 23 LGA's in Rivers state really stand him out. And the fact that he pupils that attended the schools were given free bags, shoes, and uniform is one novel initiative that his successors could not sustain. Amaechi's developmental stride was all-encompasing ranging from health, education, agriculture and what have you. All doctors in Rivers state were giftwd with a saloon car as a way of enhancing their productivity. There was free medical services for the elderly. Not to talk of the many Rivers state indigenes that were sent overseas on scholarship. Wike really took Rivers state 20 years backward. Wike ruled Rivers state without a blueprint and operated a hidden budget through out his 8years in office. |

It is a damning testimony to the very poor governors in Anambra state that useless Obiano is seen as the best. Truth be said the best should have been Dr Ngigi but he was only in office 2 years before Obasanjo illegally removed him. Aside Ngigi, Anambra state is yet to have a decent governor since 1999. 1 Like 1 Share |
