These two guys up there has been shouting here, cursing people that is telling them to avoid VV.

Why all these anger, curses?. Isn't because you know that it's the truth, unfortunately you can't back down because you've put much in it.

People were lucky with assylum claims in the past, from 2022, it became very hard.
The painful part is seeing married men claiming assylum.
Also for the singles, they claim gay, come on, it's stale.

There is federal express entry pathway, student pathway, pnp, skilled trade, buisness pathway.
Instead of exploring any of these options, you will come here showing that you know nothing and you are unwilling to learn.

I agree with someone up that wrote that you are touts in ignorance, uncouthness.

Dammm. Like another wrote, channel your anger to 1RCC who will see through your lies.

Someone said the R in their name is Refugee, lol, good for you, but do you also know it's really for countries that experience war like what happened in Ukraine?

Saying Nigeria is a terrorist nation will not fly.

It won't.
Finally, I know somebody, I know somebody, Let that person come forward and tell us that he got assylum in 2022, 2023.

When mentioned "these two guys up there" I knew you were referring to me, so I have to respond back to you. Because I don't take nonsense!!! Especially from an asthmatic patient.
Since you and that ignoramus that called us touts are the most educated in the room, I greet una Ooo Bosses, PhD holders🎓👏

So you would have preferred them suffering and smiling in Nigeria, and doing odd menial jobs, living in the slum and ghetto, while you drive by with your tinted car saying "damn" how do people even survive & cope living in such a disgusting neighborhood, damn damnit 🤧
Let me tell you something, there's a fine/thin line between jealousy and witchcraft.

N:B Please know that not everyone has that access and means to relocate via those pathways and routes you mentioned up there.

I helped my brother package his visa application last year in October, no biometric was done because his previous biometric is still valid till 2027. While waiting for a decision, he attended his US visa interview in December, but the outcome wasn't favorable.

I also helped him with the UK visa application in January of this year, but he was denied. Applied for the UK visa again in March and it was approved.

He got his 10-year passport towards the end of January, and he decided to pay for a new biometric for a Canada visa on February 2, 2024, and he did the biometric on February 27.

He received a PPR request last week even without reporting the US and the UK visa refusals because those refusals happened after he had submitted his Canada visa application.

In my opinion, I think decision has been made long before passport request. There is a lag between decision Point and PPR. Once your application pass some stage(s), you are good.
I know of a guy who did his biometric again before old one expired. His application was denied for conflicting biometric ( biometric related issue - i think) and also new visa approval or rejection may not have effect if stage relating to it has passed.
Whatever is it, approval is the main thing.
Congratulations 🎊
I think they are in the last batch of Oct.

In your comment below from December 7, 2023, you labelled a man a "fugitive" for travelling to the USA on a tourist visa, getting married, and stated that it constitutes visa abuse, impacting genuine travelers. Now, I'd like to direct the same question towards you. What has changed between now and December that makes you believe seeking false asylum on a Canada visitor visa which is similar to b1/b2 usa tourist visa does not affect other genuine travellers?

"So you would have preferred them suffering and smiling in Nigeria, and doing odd menial jobs, living in the slum and ghetto, while you drive by with your tinted car saying "damn" how do people even survive & cope living in such a disgusting neighborhood, damn damnit 🤧

Now defend yourself between your ideology in December and now ? because that will lead you to knowledge and understand in your life based on your quote above because you seems confused! becos the fine/thin line between jealousy and witchcraft" actually belong to you!

Coming from someone who has been applying for a Canadian visit visa consistently for 6 years since 2018, I hope the Canadian embassy will issue you a certificate of achievement even if they do not issue you a visa. This is because people who attend university and spend 4 years receive a certificate, so if you enroll in the school of visa application for 6 years and constantly paying your visa fee , you surely deserve a merit award and tax return on your investment =)

I PRAY YOU GET SENSE LASLAS!

Attached is your record from your first Canadian visa application in May 1, 2018, and now I see why you have been getting refused. Not disclosing your previous refusals is called misrepresentation, and it carries a ban of 5 years.

You're a daft of a man claiming to be educated. So you don't know there's a different between B1/B2, F1 and asylum seekers, & besides we were actually arguing about Canada & USA asylum seekers. And have you ever seen someone who entered the USA with a visa seeking asylum? What most of them do is sham-marriage, and that was what I countered on. And I was mad at that guy because he was telling a false story without mentioning the measure and route he used in obtaining his green card to citizenship.

Please, I beg you all to sheath your sword. I believe we are all matured minds. It is not everyone that will buy to your opinion, regardless of whether you like it or not. In fact, you could be right, but not all would agree. Just know this! I believe we can argue, oppose and support our opinions and views with maturity. Resorting to abuses or curses isn't good. How do you expect God to hear your prayers?

Meanwhile, let us be aware that a lot of people come here for information, so whatever opinions, suggestions, advise e.t.c that we give can help or mislead the innocent ones coming here for help. And what do I mean? Whatever your point of view is, let it be fact and authentic. If possible, add links to solidify your claim(s).

The issue of asylum brings commotion to this thread, greatly. We can't stop people from applying for Canada VV or asylum. It is their life. In fact, show them videos of how rejected asylum applicants are being deported, to them you will appear like an enemy.

I believe creating more awareness on how you can utilize your VV aside asylum would be better than criticizing, judging or condemning those who go for it, after all, it has never brought about any reduction in asylum seekers all this while. In fact, the seekers keep soaring day by day grin . Some people have the resources to convert a VV to study or go into truck driving but they lack info. Instead, they went asylum route. Some people don't know that even your sibling or anyone in Canada can invite you from any part of the world to take care of their old parent(s) (Personal Support Worker) as long as the host is ready to follow IRCC guidelines and make application payment (IRCC has annual quotas for this). If luck is on your side with your VV you can achieve this, though the chances are slim. But at least you know the option is available because you don't know how fortunate you could be. Remember knowledge is power!!!

Please, permit me to say this: some response of @House34 to @omega2128 aren't correct. Personal support worker and truck driving aren't yet closed currently, so it's another route you can use to utilize your VV instead of asylum route.

In conclusion, there are ways you can utilize your VV, especially when you have the resources which are better than asylum. Asylum is a 50/50 chance but this other routes are almost guaranteed when you package your application very well. Imagine you going for asylum only to face deportation in the nearest future having settled down. That masquerade will face you and you can't run away from it. Imagine again what you would tell your family members and village people who thought you had relocated to Canada only to be deported to start telling them stories that touch the heart grin. Even if you are so fortunate to be granted......you have left your children's children in the history of asylum heritage that can be a dent to their image. Remember white man keeps records for many generations if they want to keep non racial citizens in the hole. Now thanks to technology.

Shalom!!!

If you refer back to the initial question, it was based on Visitor Visa (VV) to Permanent Residency (PR) that the gentleman mentioned. The Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot are different from the psw work route which requires a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) like any other job you obtain inside Canada to apply for a closed work permit with your visitor visa. The two schemes mentioned are not connected with an LMIA and can be applied for from outside Canada because they require WES verification, IELTS scores, and a job offer and it a sure path to PR . People often mix them together and end up paying for a program that is not useful to their current situation . On November 6, 2023, there was an administrative update made by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that removed National Occupation Classification (NOC) code 73300 for truck drivers from the list of occupations eligible for a certificate of qualification. As a result of this update, truck drivers are no longer eligible for the 50 additional points available to those with a certificate of qualification under the Express Entry PR CRS, so the truck driver route is no longer an easy access to PR and it is also based on LMIA. And as you can see, I said it's closed, but now it's under LMIA AND moreso the truck driver process is not as easy as people say it for a visitor to get the required licences and employment as a new driver in canada . I'm not an immigration consultant, but I pass by 129 Peter Street in Ontario, the Assessment & Referral Centre for asylum seekers, and I hear many stories of the huge amounts people paid just for a visitor visa that could have been used for another route, but they lack information and end up on the asylum route outside waiting for a bed in the over-capacity shelter.i can only hope that God brings healing and guidance to our community and please enough of the insult on the forum and let just share information and exchange ideas.thanks

If you are legally married, TRV is the wrong visa to apply for. They are telling you to apply for a visa more suited for a married person. If your wife is A PR, she should just sponsor you. If not SOWP is your next best chance.

It will be pretty difficult to convince a VO that you want to visit your own wife and return. So they have given you a pointer. This was my situation so I know.
