Will Godfatherism monthly settlement allow them treat Labourers as humans? Yet we are fighting against corruption. As if they don't know Nigeria's real problem 22 Likes 1 Share |

This is a lesson to people voting useless governors.... Forgetting that most people they go to to beg for money are civil servants and if they vote nonsense, they'll likely be disappointed when next they go to beg for food or money.... It will affect you one way or the other..... FG increased states allocation after subsidy was removed and they can't increase staff salary to the FG standard? 20 Likes |

The pay is poor already. Any governor who fails to implement that small increment is nothing but an enemy of his workers. 7 Likes |

JASONjnr: So allocation was increased, lets assume the useless government implemented another bigger pay, please how will you curb the inflation that will make the increment insignificant? Defending this government will make you sound somehow. 1 Like |

Funny thing is the state where Nigerians claim godfatherism is bedeviling is the one paying the highest wages even above the FG minimum. What an irony of event you'd say One wonders if Godfather now cares more about worker's welfare than the saints who refuse to pay the old minimum wage of ₦30,000 all through his 8 years. The Kwara State government ( Chairman NGF) is a bad example. #10k palliative in this harsh economy couple with the poor scale of salary in the state. Level 8 being paid #46k. This is not sustainable, very ridiculous 2 Likes |

Lol. Clowns all around. To Know where to start from, look at the best time for the common man in Nigeria over the last 30 years. This was between 2001 to 2014. Especially from 2011 when Nigerians enjoyed the highest purchasing power in 30 years. Check the prevailing indicies at the time and replicate them. Then you can have an idea of what the minimum wage should be. For example, in 2014, with N18,000 minimum wage, one could buy... 2 bags of rice with change or 1 bag of beans with change or 200+ litres of fuel or 60 kg gas or 45 litres of diesel or 11 bags of cement or 36 kg of meat... Today's minimum wage gets you... 3 months MW for 1 bag of rice or 5 months MW for 1 bag of beans or 50 litres of fuel or 25kg of gas or 25 litres of diesel or 3 bags of cement or 6 kg of meat... Given the rapid destruction of purchasing power of the common man by apc, the minimum wage should be around N195,000. But if the apc continues its rudderless style of 'rulership', even 1m minimum wage won't suffice. 1 Like |

If politicians earn meagre pay too, all these see finish ll not exist. They can't pay workers but can do ridiculous projects at inflated rates, lavish money on campaign, share money at election time etc. Nigeria may appear as a poor nation but the money she make is used more for political earning. Look at the salary and arrears budget of NASS, state governors, ministers and the president. They should reduce their top so that we can v a balanced system. Salary and earnings are different from allocations. 1 Like

mytime24: Any Governor who want refused to pay should resign his post! What happens to: 1-the NBILLIONS Palliatives given by the President? 2.the Quarterly Sharing of Federation Money in NBILLIONS? 3.the Yearly NBillions always put in their Budgets. 4.the 13% Derivation NBillions in Some States , especially the Niger-Delta Regions. I beg,let these Emperors - of the States tell Nigerians-how they have expended these Humongous NBILLIONS Money at their disposal? 1 Like 1 Share |
