It is ridiculous that Nigerian billionaire Importers go to foreign countries and pay for the production of matches and then get them shipped to us.

It goes down to mining. We are partially engaged in mining. Matches requires significant phosphate mining which although should be a byproduct of fertilizers production which we engage in, making matches would require critical phosphate mining then the crude oil conversion process it takes to manufacture fertilizer.


Tell your government to open up the mining industry
