The word to use us that NATO is not officially fighting a war with Russia. They are however fighting a war with Russia, covertly. You listen to the words of the NATO secretary general and the US defense hierarchy and how they say it's cheaper for them to use Ukraine to fight Russia so as to weaken Russia cos it's cheaper for them to use Ukraine... They also repeat statements like Russia must not win in Ukraine as that would amount to a NATO defeat to Russia in Ukraine.
