US and UK are facing election years , US this year, UK Next year. IN the case of the USA, there is a chance that Trump may win. SO, why visit USA Now, and if trump wins, any deals signed with Biden suddenly go to the back burner, much to our lack of benefit. And then we have to start negotiating again. (If not that Bush had a deliberate Africa policy, the deals we signed with Clinton before he left office may never have come into effect).

UK too, Sunak is facing big problems...his party did not do well in council elections, and it is very likely Starmer and Labour would be running things next year. Same issues.

Also, Biden's attention is on the middle east. African countries, even Europe takes a back seat for now.

(I am not a tinubu supporter, just looking at things).
