All states are not equal in terms of their FAAC and IGR, however states like Delta, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Lagos shouldn’t have any excuse in paying any minimum wage approved by the FG. Any governor from the aforementioned states that can’t pay the minimum wage should go for psychiatric test. |

If minimum wage is N615,000 no body go like Japa again. A working government can pay this to her citizens. |

At first, l wanted to blame NLC for such a big amount (615k or so) when some governors are currently struggling to pay 30k but when I thought about how much senators(1.5m), reps members (1.3m), governors, ministers, etc collect per month, l started supporting Labour. Oh, Nigeria! . The Nigerian Constitution is very faulty. It should be reviewed or better still be suspended for a referendum to take place where Nigerians would discuss afresh and come up with a new Constitution, not this one given to us by our former colonial masters that favors only the politicians or the rich. . Something must change for good in Nigeria. Governors must pay. |

This will end up like the rest. How many states are paying the current 30k? In Imo State promotion are merely notional without any financial implication. And the minimum wage is probably less than 20k. |

who sent labour to fight for 615k they should better target 70-90k and be realistic |

Some Governors never pay ₦30k minimum wage labour is not talking about 6i5k. Negotiating what is not feasible makes no sense at all. Let us see how all these will end in favour of NLC |

Ebios:Nigeria is not a real country, something unknown is holding us together, hence we see so much atrocities and despicable acts being perpetrated everyday. Also the level of unpatriotism of Citizens is alarming, we don't love each other, let alone loving the country. |

Praxis758:Every state in Nigeria have a mineral resources they can develop. Also, all state governor is driving a bullet proof Prado 2023 jeep or even 2024. Why didn’t they buy a Honda to show the state doesn’t have money?? But when it comes to workers salaries they remember there’s no money |

“A questionnaire was designed and sent to all the State Councils of NLC and TUC from where these questionnaires were sent to our members in all the local government areas in the country to gather the monthly cost of living for the average family as described above." BUT minimum wage is meant to cater for the poorest families not the average families. Maybe I'm the one that's not seeing things well sha. That breakdown shaa doesn't look realistic to me, considering the way things actually are, not through a utopic lens |

Ebios:I think it's realistic only when we've started successfully getting money out of the grubby hands of the thieves, not before. We run the risk of doing ourselves a Zimbabwe. As a negotiation tactic, 615k is good cos you're then supposed to go back and forth before coming to a final number. But if this is a hard line for them, we will soon start printing 1m naira notes like the true failed economy we kukuma already are |

N615,000 minimum wage is unrealistic, the Labour Party man called Joe Ajaero is fully aware of that,he is just intentionally stretching the sufferings of workers and the masses by extension to soil Tinubu's administration,we experienced it during the simultaneous fuel and cash scarcity prior to the 2023 elections to make APC an unpopular party but they didn't succeed, they will equally not succeed this time around. How can you be putting the lives of millions of Nigerians on the line because of your selfish gains, the same Nigerian people which your duty is to see to their wellbeing. |

Praxis758:States like Kogi , Zamfara should be excused and exempted? If you're not the governor, just keep quiet. What have those small states done with their FAAC since last one year. Tell me what Yaya Bello did in 8year, What did Bello Matawalle did for Zamfara in 8year, What did Orton did for Benue in 8years, What Gaidam or Mai Mala Buni did for Yobe in 13year. Zulum with BORNO ravage with war, we all still see what he's doing. The list is countless. |
