Good day everyone. Pls, I resorted to this because I don't know what to do. I got a small space recently of which I have made deposits twice. The total package is 260k, actual rent is 150k, agreement and commission is 110k. I have been able to deposit 210k since last month, left with 50k. I actually borrowed to add up the 210k I deposited.

I have until 4pm today, Sunday, to deposit the remaining 50k or I lose the house. Pls I need anyone to assist me. Where I'm staying at the moment, they are acting cold towards me which suggests I need to leave.

Pls if you could assist me I will be glad. Thank you and God bless.

Firstly, imagine that the total package is 260k, while the actual rent is 150k, just because agreement and commission is amounted to 110k. This is one of the bad things going on in our society today. The percentages of agreement, commission and caution fee is too much and is making life unbearable for many people.


Secondary: "I have been able to deposit 210k since last month, left with 50k. I actually borrowed to add up the 210k I deposited." Why will you borrow to pay for rent. If you can't comfortably pay it by yourself now, how do you intend to be able to continue to renew it?

For the first paragraph, I learnt the commission and agreement shouldn't exceed 40% but that's not the case. I initially wanted a selfcon but I couldn't afford the fee, reason I went for something lower.

For the second paragraph, I can afford to save 12k and more monthly before the next renewal since it's once a year plus the subsequent rent is 150k. Out of the 210, the borrowed amount was only 70k, 140k was personal funds. I intended to rent later around late August to at least get a decent place, but where I'm staying currently is no more conducive cos the cold attitude towards me is almost unbearable. The rent issue was impromptu reason I found myself in this situation.
