Funny people.... snakes do not have feelings or loyalty.... not pets. How many pet snakes have killed their owners? So many that it is now known that pet pythons at some point will begin to refuse their normal food from the owner and starve itself ..... to make room to eat its owner. Cold it may seem..... bit I have absolutely no sympathy when such pet owners get killed by their pets.

This is Jay's daughter....
They have a Reptile zoo in Orange county, California.
I visited there with my family last year.

God forbid that you fall asleep in that room or one or two of them find their way into your bedroom, we will see another story of woman eating by pet snakes
