I watched and clearly understoodd what I watched. The man spent like 70% of the time he spent on that podium praising Lagos of Tinubu's era, and spent the remaining 30% ish to praise Nigeria; hence, the P newspaper headline. The Punch article did not even transcribe up to half of the mayor's speech, but atleast they got the headline right.

indeed, but the recent stats from NBS proves otherwise with them having the universities of first choice even your ancestors got there education from Sw. Sw remains the education hub of the country, even an average will rather love to school in Sw. Go to all universities in Sw and clear your doubt

This is not to praise or de-praise Tinubu. But 'I went to Lagos and fell in love with the country (Nigeria)' means I went to Lagos and fell in love with Nigeria by reason of what I saw in Lagos.

If you want to criticize the Agbadorians, you can only do that from the angle of he didn't praise Tinubu. But definitely, the Mayor praised Lagos. However, what he saw in Lagos was left unsaid, could be the buzzling life of the city, could be entertainment, could be the culture, could even be the okpekes he saw.
