andrewbaba44:This Vitor agent will finally use his mouth to kill Vitor Roque career. Putting unnecessary pressure on the club never ends well. Let's not forget that it is the coach who sees these players the most in training. This was how Ansu Fati father started putting pressure on the club and look where Ansu is today. I pray Vitor Roque does not end like Ansu but I don't like what this agent is doing. You can't say Xavi is afraid to play young players because he has lots of them in the starting 11. This period was supposed to be adaptation period for Vitor Roque but these unnecessary pressure on the club just because the season ended badly, now everyone has a voice to take their own pound of flesh. Vitor should have more patience. He's still 18. I don't see why the rush |

All these nonsense from this stupid agent is because we had a bad season. Assuming Araujo didn't have a brain fart and we reached the Semifinals and suppose to play a hypothetical second leg this week, you think this agent will have mouth to start talking about playing time for a boy who's not even up to 4 months in Europe? |

Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 10:12am On May 06 |
jpmoriarti:Before he'll talk he would have been getting feedback from the boy before it escalated to this level If Xavi knew the kid wasn't going to really feature in his plans why not allow him stay in Brazil till the end of the season since he was already signed, No one expects him to be a starter at this point in time but giving him minutes here and there would be helpful in his adaptation and boosting his confidence, This kid didn't play a single minute against Napoli and PSG, didn't play a single minute in our two Elclasico ties, didn't play a single minute against bilbao in the copa del rey quarters, how do we expect him to adapt then? if im even his father or agent I'll be more livid than curry especially knowing the tons of offers he rejected to be with the club, This shit spoiling our entry into the Brazilian market in the future like okpansukka noted is what is even worrying me |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 10:14am On May 06 |
I don’t believe this sha We won’t use lewandowski professionalism to win anything Thanks for the last league title though
|
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 10:16am On May 06 |
I still dey look this Guido Rodriguez signing sha, let me see if it would be a smokescreen for us not getting a good pivot in the summer |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 10:18am On May 06 |
andrewbaba44:Tbh I don't mind lewa staying next season sha cause he's just a part of the whole problem, He should just be sharing minutes with the younger strikers next season since he'll be 36 in a few months time and will leave next season |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 10:23am On May 06 |
Kilishihunter: This is the problem ,he won’t share minutes ,xavi have no balls to bench him even when ghosting |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 10:26am On May 06 |
jpmoriarti:How is roque and fati the same situation ? Ansu fati feel he is a big player and wants to be a starter and Xavi said he can’t guarantee him that and he left on Loan ,if not because you are trying to defend xavi how can you compare that with Roque situation , same roque that was fast tracked to arrive January instead of the summer ,we paid 40M for him ,na that same person you Dey compare to ansu fati situation ? Roque isn’t even getting half of the minutes fati got under xavi and you wanna compare the situation ? To adapt to the team you need some minutes of the bench and not spending 90 minutes on the bench and watch lewandowski ghost for the whole 90 minutes ,the games he managed to score he was even a left winger The agent is not using mouth to kill him ,have you heard that xavi isn’t talking to the kid recently ? I hope that’s not true sha |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by jpmoriarti(m): 10:29am On May 06 |
Kilishihunter:The only thing spoiling our entry into Brazilian market is lack of money. Most Brazilian youngsters are Barca fans already. Barcelona have the biggest followers in Brazil. Aa for Vitor Roque, he should be patience. He didn't instantly hit the ground running with anything special. His tardiness on the ball does not inspire alot of confidence. Yes, I know he'll only get better by playing more but this season, we operated on a very high pressured moments, where wins were eeked out by the skin of our teeth or where we were left chasing the game. All these situations were definitely not ideal for someone so young and who's still clearly having some adaptation issues with the playing style and even some footballing basics. Like I mentioned before, it's because of the awful season we've had, that's why everyone is speaking up to grandstand, as though they all have the solutions to the club's problems. Vitor Roque time will definitely come. Lewandowski is 36. So I don't see what the fuss is about really. |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 10:29am On May 06 |
andrewbaba44:I even forgot this one, I know xavi was stubborn when he was a player but I didn't know it would continue to his managerial career, sometimes when I dey see ferran or Felix coming off the bench the few times he has the balls to substitute Lewandowski the thing dey vex me die |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 10:33am On May 06 |
jpmoriarti: You saw games when we needed roque skill set to help ,how many u see am play ? We are not saying Roque should be a starter ,we are not saying he should even play 45 minutes everytime ,we are saying play him when you can see he is needed and not just leave lewandowski at the field doing nothing till the end of the game Oya tell me how many bad games Victor roque has had ,Maybe aside that game felix scored a bicycle kid where the whole team was even average |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by jpmoriarti(m): 10:35am On May 06 |
andrewbaba44:The situation is similar because Ansu father also spoke up heavily against Xavi for not playing his son as often as he would have wanted. The same thing is happening now. I clearly don't see what the issue is. Why an 18yr old cannot bide his time, train harder to impress the coach in training and when given an opportunity, grabs it with both hands . We all know that it is Xavi who sees these players in training. Xavi is not afraid to play youngsters. Lamine Yamal and Pau Curbasi are all younger than Vitor Roque but they took the chance they got and clearly deserved more. Not talking to the kid? Like he has some beef with a kid? Please tell me another thing. If anything, this new thing of running to the media to yap, will make things worse for Vitor |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by jpmoriarti(m): 10:40am On May 06 |
andrewbaba44:If anything, Vitor Roque sabotaged his own progress by getting the red card that affected his progress. When he got back from that suspension, Lewandowski already picked up form and Ferran Torres returned from injury. It's a difficult situation but we still have 4 league matches for Xavi to try to give him more minutes |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 10:43am On May 06 |
jpmoriarti:Bro how many games or minutes has this kid even played to know whether he's anything special? A player who's even been shunted to the LW atimes? He should have just been left in Brazil or better still not been bought at all Bro you are saying lack of money, we don't and won't have money like the oil backed clubs, we don't have the heavy financial revenue backing of the EPL and the biggest competition we have in our league are making moves to get more wealth alongside their existing ones so what we have banking for us right now is love for the club and loyalty but when those Brazilian kids who are Barça fans see what is happening with roque, Raphinha, remember what happened with Malcolm and Coutinho don't you think they'll start getting caught up in two minds over joining us? This cury guy speaking was our Brazilian scout for 15 solid years and is a reason why one if our biggest target Estevao willian is still at palmeiras today and not signed by any top club, don't you think the boy would start having doubts or better still cury using roque's case as an example to accept another offer, That's what I'm talking about when I say our Brazilian market might be affected |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 10:49am On May 06 |
jpmoriarti:Red card since January abi February? Bro that kid was clearly not in xavi's plans and it's likely it's a way to get back at Deco who wanted him from the start, if you notice there's been a sort of power clash between them |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 10:54am On May 06 |
jpmoriarti: How is the red card bus fault ? He sabotaged his own progress by getting a red card ,can you even listen to yourself ? Lol Ferran torres should not be playing ahead of that kid as a striker abeg After we lost the league roque should have been starting games ,but now the foolish polish tinubu has started scoring against small team when it’s not needed all because of pichichi and foolish xavi cannot bench him |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 10:55am On May 06 |

Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 11:02am On May 06 |
We no get squad depth for Barca aside for defense and midfield ,but the right thing to do is to be benching a 40M signing Xavi the grass cutter nice one |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by jpmoriarti(m): 11:12am On May 06 |
andrewbaba44:Do you remember that Vinicius spent sometimes in the Castilla of Vardrid before playing full-time in the first team? Look where he's today. You need patience to adapt properly and play your best football. It is not easy to move across the continent and hit the ground running immediately. You need a little more time and patience. |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 11:18am On May 06 |
jpmoriarti: Roque didn’t started at the Barca B ,if na Barca b we sign am for we for understand Of course patience is needed ,but not just sitting on the bench with no activity and thinking of loaning him out ,nobody even said he should be a starter self |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Awesome01(m): 11:52am On May 06 |
andrewbaba44: It is that loaning out part that I don't understand. Players are only loaned out of their parent club if they are supplus to requirement or badly out of form. Remember that Roque was not signed as a cherry on the cake, he was signed because we needed a good striker to eventually replace Lewa. He was even rushed to join in January. And he was scouted. So the question is, why rush him here in January? If you are going to loan him out by July or August? Our season is done and dusted, give him playing time, so he can blend and adapt. Or does Xavi have another striker to step up? Or maybe he wants another established striker with bogus salaries coming in. |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 12:43pm On May 06 |
Awesome01: I think xavi is now trying to punish the kid because it’s deco signing and not his It’s so clear Very petty man |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by jpmoriarti(m): 1:36pm On May 06 |
All of you sucking up to this Andry Curry nonsense guy. The same idiot that brought Matteus Fernandez to Barcelona and said he was gonna be next Busquets. Matteus ended up playing just 60 mins or so for the club. This idiot will end up unsettling Vitor Roque at the club while he's desperately trying to make it look like there's a fight between him and his coach. |

Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by toluxe0075: 3:44pm On May 06 |
Awesome01: I feel this is the main reason for Roque’s frustration. He could have waited till the end of the season (like Endrick) and continue to play first team football in Brazil and help his team over there and perhaps make Brazil national team to the COPA America. He thought he was needed badly at Barca when they initiated the transfer in January as Barca was struggling too, only for him to move from 15 - 20 minutes of playing time to getting a full time seat (with seat belt) on the bench. And when he plays, Xavi send him to the wing. In fact, introducing him now to his main role would have help him blend with the team and better prepare him for next season. Preseason will just be an icing on the cake. Xavi should let Roque know early if he is not going to be in his plan for next season. At least, the boy will find his way to another team on loan or even go back to Brazil. Talent like him needs playing time to gain confidence and reach their full potential. |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by toluxe0075: 3:49pm On May 06 |
With 4 matches to go and the season done, it will be shocking if Roque doesn’t get to play a match where he gets to be on the pitch for at least 60 minutes. At least, Xavi should get him to start the match against Almeria or come in early in the second half. |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by andrewbaba44: 4:38pm On May 06 |
toluxe0075: To even bring am from bench self na problem Lewadowski must start all games I pray the clown doesn’t win that pichichi at last |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Awesome01(m): 5:36pm On May 06 |
andrewbaba44: So we are delaying or sacrificing the development of future prospects for the individual award of 1 player? If the Pichichi was that overly important to Lewadowski, why was he ghosting in matches earlier and mid-season? These remaining games and preseason are the best opportunities to see what players like Guiu, Roque and Faye can do. Even if we loose those matches we'll still be in the UCL next season. There's no way we won't win 1 out of 4 remaining games to cement our 3rd position. |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by oliverano: 6:24pm On May 06 |
andrewbaba44: Xavi makes me laugh honestly.... We lost 8:4 to Girona after two legs and he came out to say that Barca was the better team in both games. Person pipe you twice you no fit keep quiet or admit that your team failed. SMFH. His lack of responsibility is now robbing on the squad. For Araujo to come out and confidently say that he was not responsible for the loss Vs PSG was something. He's learning so well from his boss. Soon Curbasi will make a mistake and say he's not responsible. How we take dey here, I no grab. Top to bottom we're a clown fest at the moment! .....and then we have a midfielder as GK! 2 Likes 1 Share
