VTJN:
at least Nigerians were not hungry under Jonathan watch

Nigerians have always been hungry before and since independence, and there are many songs attesting to that.

The poor will always be with us.

Now you are talking sir, even when we are not where we suppose to be as a country we are still making progress until that disaster party called APC came in 2015 to destroy the little progress we are making under PDP.

Gowon is part of the problems we have in Nigeria.

He and Ojukwu used the lives of several soldiers and innocent non-military Nigerian to settle their personal political differences..

And up till now, they still pointing accusing fingers, and making everything to look tribal..

Now that Gowon is alive, he should tell us why he started and entered the war.
The things which he couldn't control as at that time..

SO THAT SUCH HISTORY CAN BE CONTROLLED, AND NEVER TO REPEAT AGAIN..

If he continues to hide and cover the truth,, then, the true History of what really happened cannot be fully known and totally avoided..
Thus, there is every probability that it would happen again.

..

Gowon is busy wishing and hoping for a better Nigeria,, but everything around him is point to the fact that his heart is still very heavy, even at old age.

Tell us your assumed Progress your Party - PDP made in the East and other parts of Nigeria, for 16 years, after all,you have all your Governors on seat, the Senators and House of Reps- including Odia, etc, and all the State Assembly members?
Show Nigerians- the Infrastructures completed- with ALL BUDGETS PASSED into their Pockets!
Nonsensical talk!

You are right. Nobody knew he didn't know anything, we thought he could be the saviour we are looking for.

Gowon should stop taking us back to the past.

Of course, as someone in his late 80s, there is very little future for him to look towards, so he keeps taking us back to the past.

Yaradua that stopped and reversed the sale of the government refineries to the private sector, private investor that have already bought the refinery in which it was Obasanjo that sold the refinery to the private investor but yaradua reversed the sale and return back the money to the private investor and said the federal government yaradua government will do turn around maintenance of the refinery....
Till now the refineries are not working...if yaradua did not reverse the sale of the refinery the refinery would had been working by now and the price of fuel disel and other petroleum products will had been cheap and nigerians would live a better life

I know. I called him a Fulani slave. His actions at the time and during his useless reign as head of state was dictated by his Fulani masters, who in turn were teleguided by the British.

Has anyone heard this useless son of a whhore speak up against the frequent murder of his Ngas (Angas) people by the same Fulani?.

GOWON should support RESTRUCTURING.

He is so HELLBENT on this OLD SERMON of ONE NIGERIA.

Each region should be revenue self sufficient.

If you do not have crude oil like the northern part of Nigeria then face Agriculture.

But, some of his policies was spot on and he reduced pump price which I don't think has happened before in Nigerian history.
