IamAtAnger:No mind those economic migrants. They are just stressing themselves. Lagos cannot be taken away from the Yorubas. Yorubas own Oyo,Lagos,Osun,Kwara etc. No migrant can take what does not belong to him. 1 Like |

123yes: The post does not say anything about that. Basically, the post is looking at the number of non-natives living in a state. For example, if you see 98% beside a state, it means that 98% of the people interviewed in that state are natives of the state. It doesn't say anything about the number of natives of that state that are living outside the state. Going by the statistics posted, Kebbi is the least attractive state for non-natives while Lagos is the most attractive. 3 Likes |

SoNature: People travel for greener pastures, it's very hard to find a Lagos indigene in Port-Harcourt reason been that Lagos is more developed than port harcourt, just like it is hard to find an English player in French, Italian league. Reason being that the English league is more organized than those leagues. 2 Likes |

Donaldoni: It's not about where the indigenes live. Its about the population of the original indigenes in that state compared to non indigenes. |

Re: Percentage Of The Population Living In Their State Of Origin by Bekind123: 9:50pm On Mar 30 |
naptu2:The headline is straight forward so why are you trying so hard to confuse yourself. Percentage of people who love to stay or live in their state of origin, what is so confusing there? Just pack well |
Re: Percentage Of The Population Living In Their State Of Origin by naptu2: 3:17am On Mar 31 |
Bekind123: That is your interpretation of the headline. That is not what the headline says. No sensible person will say that 80% of Lagosians live outside Lagos (then where do they live?). What it says is that 80% of the people in Lagos are not indigenous Lagosians and 20% are indigenous Lagosians. https://twitter.com/StatiSense/status/1773710218821595521 https://twitter.com/hartng/status/1774020989698838759 https://twitter.com/naijama/status/1773743965860180431 https://twitter.com/naijama/status/1773743042094068206 The English Language is very easy to understand, but there is no way that we can communicate since you cannot understand it. Ogene001: You are the one that doesn't even understand it. This stat is the breakdown of the total population in a state into indigenes and non-indigenes. eg, Lagos indigenes: 20% of the total population in Lagos non-indigenes: 80% of the total population in Lagos making outsiders more than Lagosians |
Re: Percentage Of The Population Living In Their State Of Origin by Thormentor: 6:02pm On May 07 |
javascript1901: you can't read! it says "I live in my state of origin" most of Lagosians are living outside their States of origin most of them are in UK, US and many other countries. SW people are not upto 90% in thier states of Origin most of them are in Lagos no wonder Lagos State is deporting them |
Re: Percentage Of The Population Living In Their State Of Origin by javascript1901: 1:04am On May 08 |
Thormentor: ok nah SE people are running to Lagos in large numbers everyone knows that a lot of SE people are also in Ogun, Ondo, and other SW states Generally, people love SW states more and Abuja... That's what this data is saying |
Re: Percentage Of The Population Living In Their State Of Origin by Thormentor: 12:15pm On May 08 |
javascript1901: "i live in my state of origin " you don dey preach rubbish Yorubas are the most living outside thier states of origin that's what the data showed you dey cap rubbish SE Is super Homogenous the fact that you saw few people doesn't show how many people they are Northerners are found everywhere in Nigeria yet They're above 90+ % living in their states of Origin the people you call Igbos are insignificant compared to those at home |
We got fooled by that Lagos IGR —Northerners Regret Supporting Tinubu / Election Results And Update / Picture Of Mamman Nur, Mastermind Of Un House Bombing In Abuja (25m Bounty)
