I have been searching online for this so called CYBERCRIMES (PROHIBITION, PREVENTION, ETC) ACT that permits Ribabu to order CBN and the banks to start collecting cybersecurity levy. I was only able to find the 2015 act, but the circular from CBN made reference to the CYBERCRIMES (PROHIBITION, PREVENTION, ETC) ACT, 2024. I was not aware that a new cybercrime act was passed by the national assembly and assented by the president this year. When was the act passed?
