EFCC Arraigns Hadi Sirika & Daughter Fatimah On Thursday Over N2.7bn Fraud by Good01(op): 6:07pm On May 08, 2024

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is set to arraign former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, his daughter, Fatimah, and two other suspects in court on Thursday.

The suspects are facing charges over alleged N2.7 billion contract fraud uncovered in the Aviation Ministry under Sirika.

The embattled former Minister would be arraigned for trial for the first time, before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday.

Sirika is billed to appear in court with his three co-defendants, his daughter, Fatima; one Jalal Hamma, and Al-Duraq Investment Ltd, on charges of abusing their positions to launder over N2.7 billion.

I hope they have done a proper investigation before charging. Tired of the adding and dropping charges that are commonplace in the Nigerian judicial system.
An example is Namdiot Coward Cownu, the terrorist should have been tried and sentenced to death by now. The IPOB terrorist cannibal monkey should be executed at the beach like the good old days when criminals and coup plotters were executed at Bar Beach.

I thought they said he looted N80 billion Nigeria Air fund, how come he’s being charged for a meager N2.7 billion? The same way Emefiele was accused of amassing billions of dollars only to be charged with illegal possession of firearms and then N6 billion contract award.

Lesson: don’t everything they tell you about other people’s corruption.
