Hello all,

Greetings.

If everything goes well, I'd be driving from Abuja to Idah for a friend's wedding. It's going to be the farthest distance I've driven with my personal car. An Acura TSX 2009/010.

Won't be doing this alone, of course. Would be with a couple of friend also going for the wedding.

So, I need the professional advice from anyone who has driven through this route recently or who has been a passenger plying this route.

Would you advice I take my car or we go by public transportation. Major concern Is road condition, safety. My car has a low clearance.

Also how long would it take to get there by road.

You would do just fine it's a smooth ride except for ajaokuta where the road is a bit rough. Approximately it should take you 4 hours to be in Idah town

If the attached car is yours, abeg match am go Idah. You get this kind car and you dey fear to drive am?

See, the only place you will have issues of bad road (and maybe security) is Ajaokuta. But once you are done with it, you are free.

Hey guys, so I did the journey lol.

The road going was 90% fine.

But coming back... Omo that lokoja to abaji trailers have messed up that road so badly, the road undulates. My bottom plate suffered. Till today I get chills

That portion of the road has been like that for years.
