Seems as if the Chelsea ownership have learned nothing from their transfer dealings over the past two years.

By all accounts they are preparing a bid of between £30m -£40m for 17 year old Brazilian Willian Estevão who has a grand total of 11 first team appearances for Palmerios.

Their squad is already full of overpriced unproven young players. It really does beggar belief they are prepared to keep spending money like this when the transfer budget is likely to be quite limited this summer, and the squad is crying out for experienced players who can offer some sort of leadership.
