This is not right. Someone from the Ogun-Oshun catchment area should be appointed as the MD and not someone from Rivers. He should be appointed as MD of Niger Delta River basin commission instead.

This is extremely wrong and despicable. I don't care if it's a federal commission, as long as it's a regional matters, only people from that region should be appointed. He who wears the shoes know where they pinch.
•Northerner should not be appointed as head for Niger Delta Development Commission.
•Yoruba should not be appointed head for Imo River basin.
•Niger Delta should not be appointed head for North East Development Commission.
•Igbo(ikwere dialect) man should not be appointed as head for Ogun-Osun River basin.
