Abeg, no Isekai.... That genre is the least I endure in anime and get put off knowing something is based on it. Tried to give Solo Leveling some love with all the hype late last year when it was announced. Na premium shite I see. Not sure where I stopped sef, episode 5/6. 😤

Season 1 has its emotional moments but After Story is where the major emotional payoff is for most viewers.

Though, as we discussed on the TV Series thread yesterday, if you're not enjoying a show, there's no reason to force yourself to continue. By episode 5, that means you're in the Fuuko arc and if that hasn't captured your attention, it's unlikely the rest of the show will.

To Your Eternity: Had some really sad moments. My problem with it is that you may start to notice a certain pattern.

A Silent Voice: Great movie. Never thought I'd sympathise with a bully.

3-Gatsu no Lion: Just a general melancholic vibe to it rather than tearjerking moments but I recommend. Full disclosure: I never actually finished this, my laptop at the time crashed on me and redownloading anime is the most depressing thing ever.

Erased: Decent show with a dash of surprise ntr.

I Want to Eat Your Pancreas: Unfortunately no cannibalism. It's basically "The Fault in Our Stars" for weebs.

Angel Beats: Tries really hard to be sad. I guess it worked on a lot of people. Definitely worked on me at some points.

You know what? When I first watched it, I could empathise with the fact that she couldn't have known how long he the MC would have been comatose. Besides, MC was implied to get with I actually have no problem with that particular case in a vacuum.

However...

Why do East Asian writers these days like injecting their cuck fetish into everything? I already know that a lot of Korean writers are into it but this thing sh!t is even seeping into mainstream manga. Zom 100, Rent a GF, even AoT all have some weird ntr stuff going on and it's getting more and more difficult to ignore.
