𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 that South-East Region of five States is almost the same size of Oyo State (one state out of the six South-West States)?

Yet, South-East Region (equivalent to Oyo State) is governed by:

i. 5 Governors
ii. 15 Senators
iii. 43 House of Representatives Members
iv. 95 Local Government Chairmen
v. 129 State House of Assembly Members

While Oyo State is governed by:

i. 1 Governor
iI. 3 Senators
iii. 14 House of Representatives Members
iv. 33 Local Government Chairmen
v. 33 State House of Assembly Members

South East Total Landmass = 28,983Km²

Oyo State Landmass = 28,454Km²

Why is SE, a single State with 5 Governors and 95 LGA Chairmen not better developed than Oyo State with just one Governor and 33 LGA Chairmen?

Why has South East that collect allocations in five different places under five Governors and 95 Council Chairmen not been able to turn the region into Dubai?

Are the five heads of SE better than one head of Oyo State?

Add all their allocations togther. Add all their governance together. Add all their human resources (manpower) e.t.c. add all the whatever is available together.. How come the region hasn't turned to Dubai? What stops the governors coming together and pooling their resources together to develop the small landmass....

The south east even clamouring for an additional state is the joke of the century. Like more allocation and goodies from the federal when the other 5 which is the size of Oyo or Kogi has nothing to show for what they have received.

Instead of them to read this post and be sober and put heads together on how to improve their 5 plots of land, they will rather come here and defend rubbish and brag endlessly and throw tantrums like petulant kids ... The facts remain the facts.

SE people should be pushing their governors to work harder and hold them more accountable since their landmass is extremely small, and they have a surplus government representatives (5 governors, multiple HOR and senators). But NO, they would rather open all sort of strange topics all day to talk about Port Harcourt, Lagos, Ibadan and other places outside their region. E be like say na Winch or curse 😂

Just today, I read on here that Cross River has secured a funding for the a deep sea port. Soon the SE would go and start dragging land with them.
