Hi all, I started this thread last year but it hasn't gotten enough views and still want more opinions.

Hi all, I need ideas and want to borrow from you all.

If you are family man and have 25-50m loose cash to invest, what will you invest it on?

Please I am not interested in any Japa talks, it is not for me and I won't consider it at all.

I am looking for businesses that can fetch me between 3-5m profit per month.

I am currently on the verge of putting 5m on a farm but want another business that I can invest 25-50m on that is able to fetch me 3-5m per month.

How did you make the millions? Why not continue with the business? You want business ideas from people looking for money to buy bread and ewa.

I don't see a future in it. I do what is known as SEO and with the monopoly of Google and AI I think that field will become very challenging in 5-10 years now.

I need back up plans. Plus I need to diverse. I have three beautiful daughters and can't plan their future while putting all my girls in one basket.

U are a smart guy and I like the fact that u are interested in ur children's future. Honestly,there is nothing like it.

I will advice u to invest in people's businesses. That is what I do.

Like for instance this year alone,i have made close to 15million naira from Jan to date. Because of the situation in the country,most business guys now need tremendous amount of capital supports because of the volatile nature of the market especially when it comes to price.

Many guys are now storing up good so as to meet up with Challenges ahead...go find such people have an agreement with them and each 5million can give u 200k or 300k minimum on 5million,that is about 2million per month.

Gradually,u start diversifying into other investments too.

Since you are investing for the future of your children, invest part of the money in government security such as Bond or Treasury bills. You can subscribe to commercial papers also.
Then get a Land where you have good price appreciation especially the cities.
Whatever business venture you have decided to pursue, never start new business with more than 20% of your network. The first year of running any business is the learning stage. You might loose all your money if things go against your projection. This is the reason why it is discouraged to start a new business with all your cash.
If you are in a location where agricultural lands are easily available for rental or outright purchase, venture in cultivation of cassava, plant
ain, goat rearing, and piggery.

Go and investment in consumables like cornstarch...put a monthly remuneration peg on each child in $ or gold and keep it saved till the children are of age to make their decisions on their earnings...I'm presently managing a client that's doing this practice already.
For every one million investment on consumables be rest assured of @least 20% ROI monthly...that's if you are not an aggressive investor.

One of the hallmarks to succeed is to defeat ignorance or fear...BTW why not learn the ropes on how to gainfully invest in Gold or consumables?..That way you are sure your money is working for you and your children even children yet unborn.

Start researching rather than searching...if you know what i mean by the analogy.
BTW you'll definitely need a week mentorship on money management and emotional balance.

Look towards cash crop if you intend investing in crop cultivation

Just stumbled on your post while making research for diversify. I'm been an SEO too for close to 10 years, and I've been scared since March 2024 when Google deindex all my sites. I have not been able to find a viable alternative till now.

I also have experience in this. You can look at your circle of friends who are doing business or ask them if they can refer you to someone reliable.

It can be very passive and you get to use the proceed for paying important bills.

However, to do this successfully, you have to monitor your partner like an eagle - doesn't matter if they are your friend. 'Cause the last one I did, I was somehow cheated. I'm wise now.

Truly it has been a challenge lately. My revenue has dropped from minimum of $20k per month to a minimum of $5k per month. I was having as much as $45k per month at a stage last year then health and Google happened. My major issue has been health, marital wahala and little to do with Google.

I sincerely believe I will climb back because my methods will continue to be relevant. I do SEO link building for companies and not directly responsible for their full SEO which means as long as SEO exists, I will continue to be relevant. People will always want to build links.

Another area that I know people will continue to look for is experts in local SEO and it is quite easy. Getting your first client will be hard but once you do and you have social proof from there, you are good to go. You can charge between $750 and $2500 per client and it is easy managing as many as 15 clients.

Another method is site flipping. I was the king here before I chose to pivot but coming back to it as well. The plan is to find sites whose owners don't know the value and buy them over. My plan is to target sites that are already making at least $2500 per month, pay the owners a multiple of 24 ( for a site making $2500 per month, that will be $57k ), extremely risky for newbies but my chances of losing is not high.

I am trying not to give away too much here but here is how if I get such a site I will recoup my investment within 1 year, even possible within 6 months but I won't go into details, I want to help but I hope you understand.

Selling back links - The main reason I am willing to put serious money on this is backlinks sales and client hunting. SEO agencies and owners of business will DEFINITELY be contacting me for sponsored guest posts on these sites and because many of these people are always looking for more websites and I have partnership with over 24k website owners ( I was once an outreach manager for two of the biggest guest post market places hence the relationship I have with website owners ), I can offer them sites that are not mine and mark up the price. For each deal my mark up is usually between $100-$450. And depending on how big the client is, you can be getting 10 deals from a single client ( I worked with a client who was doing 25 deals per month through me and my mark up was $350 on average).

This method is not as easy as I have written this but if you are smart, you can make millions easily from this even with the current state of things. Partnering with webmasters and exchanging email contacts of link buyers is another interesting way. You give them your own leads in exchange for theirs and milk the contacts, I have such partnership with 25 websites owners and it is growing. I won't go into full details in this spect I am sorry.

Yes, thanks so much. I really understand. I pray you bounce back better. I can't imagine what it'll feel like to experience that much of a drop. SEO is really that volatile. But with your experience, it's really a matter of time. Can't advice seeing you have much more experience than me. Really hope you get your health issue sorted out completely too.

I have dabbled in pretty much all except link building. It is not my strong area, which is why I always resort to buying expired domains.

I did made some money with flipping and would have continued if not what happened. Was about to make close to 50million on a site sale, and boom, Google destroyed the site while it was being listed on Empire Flippers. I sold another $10k through Epik and Robert Monster made away with it all. These two events affected me a lot at that time.

Where I need help now is offering local SEO as foreign clients don't want to work with yet while the Nigerian companies I've encountered aren't serious. But I feel relieved seeing what is still possible if I can keep going.

But if you don't mind, why did you decide to pivot from site flipping? This is the method I want to see if I can get back into. Plan is to get a powerful expired domain and go from their. And seeing that a lot of strong domains (in terms of backlinks) are still ranking really well, I believe, as you have posited, that there is still a lot if opportunities here.

Hello, why not invest in rabbit farming I run a rabbit farm and I can attest to it that it a very profitable venture as I combine rabbit farming with sweet potato farming, they eat the vines and i still make some money selling the tubers. Rabbits are more easier to maintain than other life stock

About 15million naira will get you a decent Hostel in kwara state university malete. With a firm of lawyers managing the property for you, 2 million naira is sure every year. Maintenance and all can be discussed.
